Frantiskovy Lazne Spa 











Frantiskovy Lazne is the first mud baths ever established in the world opened in 1792. In the same year, Austrian Emperor Franz I was crowned a Czech king and the spa was thus named after him. The local therapeutic facilities specialize in the treatment of heart and blood circulation problems, of locomotion organs disorders, but mainly of gynecologic concerns, including infertility.

Janske Lazne, a spa in the Krkonose Mountains, has 2 thermal and mineral springs. The spa concentrates on the treatment of post-operative and post injury trauma, respiratory system diseases, post polio disorders and trauma caused by nervous and muscular disorders. Jeseník 









Jesenik Spa came into existence thanks to Vincenz Priessnitz, the founder of hydrotherapy, who established there the first hydrotherapy center in the world in 1822. Carlsbad / Karlovy Vary 












Karlovy Vary, also known as Carlsbad, is named after the Emperor Charles IV, who founded the city in 1370. It is historically famous for its hot springs (12 main springs and about 300 smaller springs) and it is also the largest spa in the Czech Republic. In the 19th century, it became a popular tourist destination, especially for international celebrities. The water and mud are used to treat patients with digestive and musculoskeletal problems‚ respiratory system diseases, diabetes and obesity.
Luhacovice 









The Luhacovice Spa is the largest and the most attended spa in Moravia with a tradition of more than 300 years. It specializes in the treatment of respiratory system diseases, metabolic malfunctions and digestive tract problems. Sixteen mineral springs and one sulphur spring supply a natural source of treatment. Luhacovice owes its fame, among other things, to the beautiful architecture of its sanatoria and parks.

Podebrady 





Podebrady Spa, where the heart and the circulation system are treated, is situated 50km east of Prague. The small spa originated here already in the 17th century, but the main spring of mineral water with therapeutic effects was discovered later in 1905.
